About this file

This is a Frequently Asked Questions document issued by Central Health regarding an RFP for a Compensation System in Texas. The solicitation does not currently have an incumbent vendor, and Central Health expects proposers to submit their own proposed budgets rather than work from a pre-established budget ceiling. Award decisions are generally made around the proposal expiration date stated in the solicitation package, with all proposers receiving formal notification once a determination is made. Proposal submissions must be made through the BidNet platform, though in-person delivery can be arranged by special request; email submissions are not accepted.

Central Health requires a Good Faith Effort regarding MBE/WBE participation from contractors and consultants unless otherwise specified in the solicitation documents. HUB-certified businesses must report on the HUB certification status of their subcontractors, though non-HUB vendors are permitted to participate in the solicitation. Austin's living wage requirements apply to this contract, and interested proposers are advised to research both City of Austin and Travis County wage mandates. Resumes and other supporting materials count against the stated page limit for proposals, and proposers should direct technical questions regarding the BidNet platform to BidNet's support team rather than Central Health staff.
