About this file
This Scope of Work document outlines security door installation requirements for the Texas Department of Criminal Justice (TDCJ) new training facility. The project requires the installation of four sliding doors: one 3150XL sliding door, one 1058 CPC sliding door, one Stewart Decatur sliding door, and one HP3 sliding door. Each door must include a food slot equipped with a 1010 lock. The doors will be controlled by a simple open/close mechanism provided and installed by the door vendor, with electrical power supplied via existing 120V boxes centered over each door opening. A two-gang electrical box has been pre-installed for the controller. Masonry door openings are standardized at 3'-0" x 6'-8". A mandatory site visit prior to bidding is required, and bidders must field verify existing door opening dimensions before submitting proposals. The primary point of contact for questions is Charles 'Wes' Breder at (936) 355-6766.
The scope of work requires bidders to provide all labor, materials, equipment, and transportation necessary for the complete installation of the security doors. No specific pricing terms, set asides, incumbent information, funding amounts, or contract award dates are detailed in this scope document. Bidders should coordinate directly with the identified contact to schedule their required site visit and obtain any additional project specifications needed for accurate proposal submission.
