About this file

DPS Online Bid Room Vendor Information

This document is a vendor information guide issued by the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) regarding submission procedures for state and local contract solicitations, specifically for Translation Services. The file provides instructions for vendors interested in responding to solicitations through the DPS Online Bid Room, an optional electronic submission platform. Vendors are required to review the complete solicitation package, including all exhibits, before submitting responses. All responses must be submitted in the form and manner specified in the solicitation package by the stated response due date and time. The document emphasizes that failure to adhere to submission requirements may result in disqualification of the proposal.

The DPS Online Bid Room access requires a two-step registration process: vendors must first register at the specified portal and allow up to two business days to receive login credentials via email, then use those credentials to access the platform and submit their solicitation response electronically. The document includes multiple resources to assist vendors, including a vendor user guide, frequently asked questions, and tutorial videos. Notably, the DPS clarifies that technical difficulties with the optional Online Bid Room system do not constitute grounds for protesting a contract award, and vendors should allow sufficient time for registration to meet the submission deadline, as late responses are not accepted. Electronic submissions receive confirmation through the system, and no additional receipt confirmation is required.
