This is a TPDES (Texas Pollutant Discharge Elimination System) permit document for the Generation Park Management District, a political subdivision of Texas located northeast of Houston. The permit, numbered 14625001, authorizes the District's wastewater discharge operations and is valid through September 8, 2030. The permit establishes regulatory requirements and conditions for the District's wastewater treatment plant and related discharge activities, ensuring compliance with state and federal environmental protection standards. The document serves as the environmental authorization necessary for the District's ongoing water and wastewater system operations, which currently serve 1,600 equivalent connections and are projected to grow to 5,400 connections. The permit's validity period extends approximately five years from the current operational date, providing regulatory certainty for the District's infrastructure management and operations planning.

The TPDES permit functions as a critical regulatory requirement for any operations services contractor selected through the Generation Park Management District's concurrent RFP process. Any successful contractor must operate the wastewater treatment plant and discharge systems in full compliance with all conditions and limitations specified in this permit. The permit's expiration date of September 8, 2030, aligns with the District's long-term operational planning and should be factored into contract term considerations and renewal schedules. Prospective contractors should thoroughly review the permit conditions to understand specific operational, monitoring, reporting, and maintenance requirements that will be mandatory under any resulting operations services contract.
