About this file
This is an attachment to a Request for Proposal (RFP) that establishes qualification requirements and submission instructions for Field Monitor positions on a biological and/or marine mammal monitoring project. Applicants must complete a standardized form documenting their educational background (minimum high school diploma or GED), professional certifications related to biological or marine mammal monitoring with issuing entities and expiration dates, and detailed work experience demonstrating successful field services involving observational, monitoring, or field recording activities and deployment of related field equipment. Candidates must submit descriptions of up to three relevant projects, with each project entry limited to 250 words and detailing the project name, location, client contact information, specific duties and responsibilities, species monitored, data collection methods, protocols followed upon spotting target species, and the applicant's direct contributions to project success. The overall work experience section allows up to 500 words per job position.
The document does not address pricing, contract terms, funding sources, set-asides, or incumbent information. This attachment functions as a standardized evaluation and qualification document requiring candidates to demonstrate competency in field-based biological monitoring work through documented education, certification, and verifiable project experience. The submission format ensures consistent evaluation of all applicants against the same criteria related to observational monitoring capabilities and field equipment management competencies.
