About this file

This document details specifications for the annual calibration and preventative maintenance of Landtec GEM 5000 Portable Gas Analyzers. The specifications outline a comprehensive service process that includes instrument inspection, calibration across multiple gas measurements (methane, carbon dioxide, oxygen, carbon monoxide, and hydrogen sulfide), and potential component replacements. The service will cover atmospheric pressure and gas flow calculations, with additional provisions for oxygen cell programming, water trap kit adjustments, firmware updates, and replacement of various instrument components as needed.

The specifications require that all calibration be performed according to manufacturer's protocols using traceable equipment that meets Landtec's calibration specifications. Each calibrated instrument must be accompanied by a unique and signed Statement of Calibration. In cases where mechanical issues are discovered during inspection that might prevent successful calibration, the service provider is required to provide a written quotation to the customer before proceeding with any repairs. The document emphasizes a thorough and transparent approach to maintaining the accuracy and functionality of the gas analyzers, with return freight included in the service.
