About this file
This Exhibit F - Scope of Work document is for the Texas Department of State Health Services Laboratory, detailing an Annual Preventative Maintenance & Repair Service Contract for liquid handling and pipette calibration equipment. The contract covers three specific Artel instruments: two PCS Pipette Calibration Systems and one MVS Multichannel Verification System, located at 1100 W. 49th St, Austin, TX 78756. The contract term spans multiple fiscal years from September 1, 2025, to August 31, 2030, with annual service requirements including on-site preventative maintenance, recalibration, and recertification of the specified equipment.
The service agreement mandates comprehensive maintenance provisions, including unlimited online/telephone technical support during business hours, scheduled on-site preventative maintenance, recalibration services, and ISO 17025 calibration certification. Additional requirements include an extended warranty for the MVS Multichannel Verification System, remote troubleshooting assistance, hardware repairs using OEM-certified parts, and software updates within 60 days of release. The contract emphasizes critical public health considerations by requiring that service engineers be trained and certified, and strictly prohibiting subcontracting to ensure direct vendor performance and equipment reliability.
