About this file
This document is an Invitation for Bid (IFB) issued by the Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission (TABC) for 90th Anniversary Law Enforcement Badges. The solicitation seeks a vendor to design and deliver custom law enforcement badges commemorating TABC's 90-year history, with a delivery deadline of July 1, 2025. The one-time contract involves producing badges matching a historical Texas Liquor Control Board design, featuring a two-tone metal construction with antique gold and silver finishes, a 1.64" diameter, and specific design elements including a Texas star, banners, and commemorative text. The bid response deadline is April 28, 2025, at 2:00 PM CST, with an anticipated award notification on May 2, 2025.
The IFB requires bidders to submit a sample badge for evaluation and provides detailed specifications for badge construction, including manufacturing process, metal finish, and design requirements. Pricing will be evaluated on lowest price, ability to meet specifications, delivery schedule, and past performance, with an all-or-none award approach. Preference will be given to Texas-based vendors, including historically underutilized businesses and service-disabled veteran-owned businesses. The contract includes provisions for potential future product additions, price adjustments, and specific delivery and acceptance terms, with shipping to be F.O.B. destination and full compliance with specifications required for acceptance.
