About this file
This Statement of Work (SOW) from the Texas Animal Health Commission details specifications for fence construction services under IFB 554-25-004 at El Sauz Ranch. The project involves constructing seven fence sections totaling approximately 10,570 linear feet: Mogotes Trap Wing (~2,240 ft), Venado Pasture Wing (~2,640 ft), Emily's Pasture Fence (~2,530 ft), South Monterrey Fence (~200 ft), Beto's Tank North Alley Fence (~1,000 ft), Beto's Tank South Alley Fence (~1,000 ft), and South Monterrey CRP Trap (~960 ft). The scope includes detailed specifications for H braces, posts (vertical, horizontal, line, and T-posts), and fencing materials including StaTite 50 949-6-330' Fixed Knot Fence with an additional strand of 12.5-gauge Premium 4-Point Class 1 Barbed Wire.
The SOW includes detailed maps showing the layout and location of each fence section at El Sauz Ranch. All materials must meet or exceed IFB specifications, and contractors must ensure work follows provided maps and fence designs. Construction activities must be completed with minimal environmental disruption, and the work site must be left clean upon completion. Unique specifications are noted for the South Monterrey CRP Trap, which requires double H braces at every corner and different post spacing requirements compared to other sections.
