About this file
This exhibit document from MD Anderson Cancer Center outlines the requirements for privacy curtain maintenance services across multiple remote locations. The scope includes semi-annual curtain changes and as-needed replacements during terminal or isolation cleaning procedures. The service requires contractors to respond to PM (Preventive Maintenance) work orders generated through MDA's system, with work to be performed after 6 PM for routine maintenance and as needed throughout the day for priority 'A' work orders. The service locations include multiple campuses: Sugar Land (463 units), League City (141 units), West Houston (143 units), Woodland (190 units), Life Science Plaza (88 units), Bellaire Treatment Center (12 units), Energy Corridor Building (43 units), Northwest Houston Surgical Specialty (20 units), and Radiation Outpatient Center (36 units).
The contractor is responsible for providing staff training on safe curtain changing procedures using ladders. The process includes picking up clean curtains from designated storage areas, replacing existing curtains, and properly disposing of used curtains in designated containers. All completed PM work orders must be submitted to PCPFWCC@MDANDERSONCANCERCENTER.com for documentation. The implementation timeline for these services is listed as TBD (To Be Determined), with potential expansion to additional sites as they become operational.
