About this file
This is an Exhibit A Definition of Terms document from The University of Texas M.D. Anderson Cancer Center's Facilities Management Division, detailing key terminology for a cleaning services contract. The document provides comprehensive definitions for a housekeeping services scope of work, including three distinct cleaning levels (Level 1-daily, Level 2-twice weekly, Level 3-weekly), emergency response requirements, and special provisions for Ride Out Teams and Recovery Teams during emergencies like hurricanes and floods.
The document specifies that contractors must use Green Seal certified cleaning products, comply with bio-hazardous material handling requirements, and maintain specific uniform standards approved by the Facilities Department Project Coordinator. The contract prohibits subcontracting and requires contractors to participate in both routine cleaning services and on-demand special cleaning projects. The terms also outline requirements for computer maintenance management system (Maximo) usage and define cleanable spaces as all room types used by tenants, patients, employees, and visitors, excluding elevator shafts and mechanical spaces.
