About this file

This document is an Invitation to Bid (ITB) for Texas Southern University (TSU) regarding the lease of temporary suites for their homecoming football game on October 5, 2024 at Durley Field on the TSU campus. TSU is seeking to lease two (2) 16' x 26' elevated suites not to exceed 5' above ground, to be installed from September 23-27 and dismantled by October 7. The suites must include standard theater-style seating, observation decks, peak tents, and various amenities. Bids are due by September 12, 2024 at 11:00 AM Central Time. TSU will award the contract based on the most advantageous proposition, considering factors such as price, stability and success of the contractor, quality and reliability of goods/services, and past contractor performance.

The ITB outlines firm pricing requirements, with a maximum annual escalation percentage to be provided by the bidder. Subcontractors must meet the same requirements as the primary contractor. There are no HUB subcontracting requirements, as TSU has determined that such opportunities are not probable under this contract. The contract term is anticipated to be one year, with two possible one-year extensions.
