About this file
This document is an addendum to Invitation for Bid (IFB) #IFB-24-036 issued by the Texas A&M Forest Service for the procurement of nine tri-fold tonneau truck bed covers and nine 1500 lb capacity truck bed cargo slides compatible with 2024 Ford F-350 short bed fleet trucks. The addendum provides clarification on questions raised by bidders, including the acceptable extension percentage for the cargo bedslides, lack of color preference for the bedslides, and confirmation that the factory-built side rail height is acceptable without the need for custom fabrication.
The IFB requires bidders to return the signed and dated addendum with their bid submittal. Failure to do so may result in bid disqualification. The contract opportunity is for the state of Texas, specifically Brazos County, and the bid due date is not provided in the documents reviewed.

RE: Invitation for Bid #IFB-24-036 (Tri-fold Truck Covers and Truck Cargo Bedslides)
The following additions, corrections and/or deletions are made to the above referenced Invitation For Bid:
Questions and Answers:
Question#1: The bedslide list in your bid request has 75% extension, bedslide offers a 100% extension. Are you only interested in the 75% extension?
Answer #1: We are only interested in the 75% extension.
Question#2: Do you have a preference on the color for the cargo bedslide?
Answer #2: We have no preference on the bedslides color.
Question #3: Per the IFB, the required height for the side rails of the CargoGlide is 8". The factory-built units have side rails of approximately 8" but only for the front half of the unit. The back half of the side rails are approximately 4" to 5". If this configuration works for your purposes, the factory configuration will suffice. If not, custom fabrication (which we do in house) would be needed to extend the 8" height of the rails to the end of the unit. Please let me know which option is required.
Answer #3: Factory build will suffice. No need for custom fabrication.
