About this file
This document is a Warranty and Complaint Resolution form for a statewide Invitation for Bid (IFB) issued by the Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) for the procurement of a wide variety of frozen food products, including meats, vegetables, baked goods, entrees, desserts, juices, and purees. The contract term is for 2 years with a 1-year renewal option, with an anticipated start date of September 1, 2024. Bidders must bid on a minimum of 95% of the specified items and will be required to deliver the products to all listed HHSC facilities statewide on a mutually agreed schedule, with the ability to ship backordered items within the same calendar month.
The IFB encourages the submission of a Historically Underutilized Business (HUB) Subcontracting Plan, although it is not required. HHSC reserves the right to make a single award or multiple awards to achieve the best value for the state. The IFB does not provide any information on set-aside designations, incumbent vendors, or current contractors. Additionally, the funding sources and award values or budget ranges are not specified in the available documents.
