About this file
The document is an addendum to an RFP (Request for Proposals) issued by the University of Houston Athletics Department for Athletics Production Services. The RFP seeks proposals from external production companies to package a minimum of 50 intercollegiate athletic events per year, projected to begin in August 2024. The format will be 720p or 1080i. The RFP encourages proposers to offer contractual arrangements that provide maximum benefit to the University in terms of services, overall cost, and project management expertise. Respondents are asked to provide per-game pricing and note any volume discounts, as well as provide a summary of their company operations and experience producing college sporting events.
The addendum provides answers to several questions raised by potential respondents, including availability of internet and power at the various event venues, whether remote production setups are allowed, submission requirements, overtime policies, and catering for production crews. The RFP covers events within the jurisdictions of Harris County and the City of Houston.
