About this file
This document is an Addendum to Invitation for Bid (IFB) No. 304T-24-760A1 for Skid Steer Loaders, issued by the Statewide Procurement Division (SPD), a division of the Comptroller of Public Accounts (CPA) for the State of Texas. The primary customer for these items is the Texas Department of Transportation. The Addendum revises the labor rate for warranty repairs from $40 per hour to $105 per hour. The IFB solicits sealed responses for Skid Steer Loaders, and respondents must acknowledge receipt of the Addendum.
The pricing terms in the IFB include a maximum labor rate of $105 per hour for warranty repairs, and the time allowed for each repair will be determined by the manufacturer's standard time schedule. Bidders may request the bid tabulations for the previous or existing contract related to this project by submitting an Open Records Request to the Comptroller's Office.

Question Answer
I was just going over the solicitation with our sales manager and we were curious on why non-warranty labor is so low at $40 an hour. Is that normal for state of Texas procurement?

Can you please provide me with the bid tab for the previous or existing contract related to this project? Thank you.
