About this file
This is a Request for Qualifications (RFQ) issued by the City of Englewood, New Jersey to establish an on-call pool of pre-qualified architectural and design services consultants. The solicitation seeks qualified firms capable of addressing a diverse range of architectural and design services across the City's facility portfolio, including planned capital projects, tenant improvements, and unforeseen facility needs. The RFQ aims to enable the City to respond to these needs in a timely and cost-effective manner. Interested firms were required to submit qualifications by the specified deadline to be considered for inclusion in the pre-qualified consultant pool. The resulting on-call arrangement will allow the City to issue task orders or individual project assignments as needs arise, rather than conducting separate competitive procurements for each project.
The on-call contract structure allows the City to engage pre-qualified consultants on an as-needed basis for specific projects within their scope of work. Pricing for individual projects will be negotiated as task orders are issued, with costs to be determined based on the scope and complexity of each specific assignment. This arrangement provides flexibility for the City to manage its facility portfolio efficiently while ensuring access to qualified design professionals. The contract term and any renewal options, along with specific pricing guidelines and fee structures, would be established in the resulting on-call agreements or master service agreements with selected consultants.
