About this file

This is a Professional Rate Schedule instruction document issued by the City of Detroit for an Emergency Residential Demolition project located at 2561 Newport in Michigan. Respondents are required to submit completed rate schedules containing unit rates for two primary service categories: Demolition (which includes administration, supervisor, laborer, equipment, regulated and non-regulated material trucking, and asbestos-containing material and construction debris disposal) and Backfill, Grade, and Site Finalization (which includes administration, supervisor, laborer, equipment, backfill material, and topfill material). All highlighted cells on the Professional Rate Schedule must be completed by respondents, and rates must be submitted as single mean values per unit of measure rather than ranges or qualified statements.

The City of Detroit has established specific submission requirements and reserves the right to deem incomplete any Professional Rate Sheets that contain rate ranges, qualifying notes or text, alternate unit types, or blank rate fields. Respondents must provide unit rates in the specified format and be prepared to provide clarification on any submitted rates within twenty-four hours if requested by the City. The completion and submission of a Professional Rate Schedule does not constitute acceptance of the unit rates by the City of Detroit, allowing the municipality to evaluate and potentially negotiate rates prior to award.
