About this file
This document constitutes instructions for completing the Emergency Professional Rate Schedule for the City of Detroit's Emergency Residential Demolition project at 3296 Taylor in Michigan. Respondents must submit unit rates for two primary service categories: Demolition (which includes administration, supervisor, laborer, equipment, regulated and non-regulated material trucking, and disposal of asbestos-containing and construction/demolition materials) and Backfill, Grade, & Site Finalization (which includes administration, supervisor, laborer, equipment, backfill material, and topfill material). All respondents are required to complete business and contact information and enter dollar values for each specified service type using the corresponding unit type.
Respondents must provide mean (average) per-unit-of-measure pricing in every highlighted cell without ranges, qualifications, notes, or alternate unit types. The City of Detroit reserves the right to deem rate schedules incomplete or non-responsive if they contain price ranges (such as $60.00-$90.00), qualifying text, alternate unit types (monthly instead of hourly, or yards instead of tons), or blank unit rate fields. Additionally, the City retains the discretion to question or request clarification on any submitted unit rate, with respondents required to provide such clarification within twenty-four hours of request. Completion and submission of the Professional Rate Schedule does not constitute City acceptance of the proposed unit rates.
