About this file
This email notification from the Illinois Chief Procurement Office (CPO) announces a revised notice of award for a 5-day janitorial services contract for the MABB Judges Quarters (J0200). The original award issued on July 28, 2026, to PrimeOne Facilities Services Inc. has been rescinded due to the vendor's withdrawal of their bid following the award announcement. The contract, identified as B-52614, involves janitorial services for the specified state facility. Due to the rescission, the state procurement office has created a new bid number, B-53750, to lock down the reoffered contract opportunity.
The award has been reassigned to Smith Maintenance Company, identified as the lowest responsive and responsible bidder under the Small Business Set-aside Program. This action reflects the state's commitment to supporting small business participation in state procurement while ensuring cost-effective service delivery. The email was distributed to relevant state agencies and procurement personnel on August 18, 2026, by John H.H. Demien, Senior State Purchasing Officer for the CPO, indicating the contract's approval and transition to the new awardee.
