About this file

This is a Request for Quote (RFQ) issued by the California Department of Pesticide Regulation (CDPR) for non-IT goods. The solicitation (EM-25-079) seeks quotes for shelter and weather tower equipment consisting of three line items: one shelter and tower trailer, six 33-foot aluminum weather towers, and six aluminum tower bases with tilt frames. The shelter and tower trailer is specified as a galvanized steel chassis with an all-aluminum shelter measuring 6'4" W x 21'4" L, equipped with dual 5,200 LB galvanized torsion axles, electric brakes, a 46-foot telescopic aluminum crank-up tower, HVAC system, 50-amp shore power inlet, and guy wire kits with helical screw anchors. The aluminum weather towers are free-standing stack-type structures consisting of three 10-foot sections with bolted joining sleeves and tapered top sections. The solicitation was released February 25, 2026, with questions due by March 4, 2026, answers posted by March 11, 2026, and quote responses due March 18, 2026 at 12:00 pm PST. The equipment is to be shipped to 3077 Fite Circle, Suite 100, Sacramento, California 95827, which has no dock or forklift facilities.

Quotes must be submitted via email on company letterhead and include itemized pricing, applicable sales tax, discounts, total cost, shipping charges if not included, any e-waste fees, and a minimum 30-day validity period. Required administrative documents include the Bidder Declaration, civil rights certification (if the contract exceeds $100,000), payee data record, seller's permit, and various state-mandated certifications. Payment terms are Net 45. CDPR will evaluate all responsive and responsible quotes and reserves the right to modify any part of the solicitation through amendments. Tie-breaking preference is given to vendors certified as Small Businesses (SB) or Disabled Veteran Business Enterprises (DVBE), with a coin toss determining the award if a tie persists after applying preference criteria. Vendors must certify compliance with Executive Order N-6-22 regarding Russian sanctions and meet CalRecycle recycled content plastic trash bag certification requirements.
