About this file

This document is a bid schedule for the Ely Puckett Creek Wetlands AMD Maintenance IX project, which is being solicited by the Commonwealth of Virginia's Department of Energy, Mined Land Repurposing, Abandoned Mine Land Section. The project is located in Lee County, Virginia and the work consists of mobilization, cleaning and repair of drainage pipes, access road repair, miscellaneous drainage control work, cleanup and repair of damages, safety conditions, and revegetation of all disturbed areas at the project site. The bid schedule includes 15 line items, with quantities provided for each item. Bidders must attend a mandatory pre-bid conference on July 3, 2024, and bids are due by July 16, 2024. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder and must be completed within 45 calendar days after receipt of the Notice to Proceed.

The bid schedule indicates that the Total Bid Price will be used to determine the bid amount, establish the contract award value, and determine the performance and payment bond amounts for the successful bidder. Bidders must submit a bid bond for all bids of $100,000 or more. This procurement has set-aside designations for SBSD-certified micro businesses (bids up to $10,000) and SBSD-certified small businesses (bids up to $100,000), if the agency determines the bid price is fair and reasonable. Bidders must comply with federal requirements such as the Buy America and Buy American Act and submit all required forms and certifications. No additional details are provided regarding pricing terms, incumbents, or funding sources.
