About this file
This document outlines the electronic bid opening procedures for an Invitation for Bid (IFB) or Request for Proposal (RFP) contract opportunity issued by the Illinois State Toll Highway Authority. The bid opening process includes securing a WebEx account, sending calendar invitations, drafting sign-in sheets and bid result forms, reading bid information aloud, documenting attendance and bid details, and publishing results. For IFBs, vendor names and bid prices are read aloud, while for RFPs, only vendor names are read initially, with the price opening occurring later after the technical evaluation. The bid results are then posted online and the bid tabulation process begins.
The related contract opportunity is for Off-Site Record storage and Data and Storage Services for the Illinois Tollway. The contract will be awarded by group, and bidders must bid on all lines within a group but are not required to bid on both groups. Vendor questions are due by April 6, 2022 at 3:00 pm CT.
