This amendment is hereby being issued to clarify the following information:

Please note the number of pieces in each kit below. However, proposed kits do not need to be identical to the current kits. However, finished products should meet all requirements stated in the part number specifications.

The following kits were listed with number of parts in each kit, however, they were not items listed as part of the solicitation. These kits should be not be included as part of the solicitation document.

The following changes the Past Performance requirement from:

Old:

Past Performance - Offeror's will be evaluated on their record of relevant, and recent past performance, from the Business Questionnaires submitted, and information received from past contracts and any additional data obtained by the Government, i.e., current contracts. Relevant past performance is defined as having a record of actual performance or accomplishment in the manufacturing safety glasses, goggles, shields on contracts similar in scope to the requirement being evaluated. Recent past performance information is defined as contracts performed within the last three years.

In evaluating offerors past performance, the Contracting Officer will consider the following: adherence to contract schedules, cooperative behavior and commitment to customer satisfaction, and the timeliness of performance taking into account excusable delays.

Offerors may provide information on problems encountered on the identified contracts and the corrective action taken. The Government shall consider this information, as well as information obtained from any other sources, when evaluating the offerors past performance. Prompt corrective action in isolated instances may not outweigh overall negative trends.

In the case of an offeror without a record of relevant past performance or for whom information on past performance is not available, the offeror may not be evaluated favorably or unfavorably on past performance.
