About this file

This file is a recording of a virtual industry day event hosted by the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Office of Health Security regarding Occupational/Employee Health Electronic Health Record and Medical Information Systems (Occ Health EHR/MIS) capabilities.

The two-day event is scheduled for May 26-27, 2026, with all interested vendors eligible to attend Day 1 (May 26, 9:00-11:00 AM ET), which consists of government-led presentations including an overview of the OHS mission, the DHS Medical Information Exchange program, draft vision and Statement of Objectives (SOO), and key requirement areas spanning privacy/governance, surveillance, case management, reporting/analytics, interoperability, and implementation. DHS leadership from multiple divisions including the Chief Medical Officer, Total Workforce Protection Directorate, Health Information Systems and Decision Support Unit, and the Office of the Chief Information Officer will provide perspectives and participate in structured Q&A sessions. Day 2 (May 27, 9:30 AM onward) is limited to one-on-one market research meetings and demonstration sessions by invitation only. Participants are encouraged to review the related Request for Information posted at SAM.gov prior to attendance. This industry day serves to inform vendors of DHS-wide occupational and employee health EHR/MIS requirements, understand current commercial capabilities and deployment approaches, and gather feedback to inform future acquisition planning and strategy.
