About this file
This document is an Attachment J.08 Labor Category Definitions for a federal contract opportunity, detailing six specific labor categories required for an Electrical Distribution Equipment (EDE) III procurement. The labor categories include Program Manager, Technical Advisor, Program Coordinator, Field Services Engineer, Power Consultant/Principal Engineer, and Quotation Engineer, each with distinct responsibilities and qualification requirements. Key qualifications vary by role but generally emphasize engineering degrees (often with flexibility for equivalent experience), technical certifications, and specific experience in electrical distribution, power monitoring, system integration, and project management. Most positions require between 3-10 years of relevant experience, with preferences for professional certifications like Project Management Professional (PMP), Professional Engineer (PE), or Certified Energy Manager (CEM). The labor categories are designed to support the FAA's Air Traffic Organization's power systems replacement, enhancement, and lifecycle support needs for national airspace assets and facilities.
