About this file
This document represents the specifications for a scientific echosounder required by the Oregon Department of Fish & Wildlife (ODFW) for their Newport office. The echosounder must have 200 and 38 kHz split-beam transducers with a maximum circular beam width of 7 degrees +/- 1 degree and side lobes of -15 dB. The system needs to be easily movable between vessels and the equipment must be waterproof. The agency also desires the unit to be expandable to broadband capabilities in the future. This intermediate procurement will result in a Purchase Order and will not be subject to protests.
The procurement will cover the jurisdictions of Lincoln County and Newberg City in the state of Oregon. No additional details are provided regarding pricing terms, set asides, incumbents, funding requirements or sources, or contract term and renewal options.
