PROJECT DELIVERABLES

1. Conduct kick-off Team meeting and determine experimental procedure to measure residual stress. Results due to DOT within three (3) months of the effective date of the Agreement.

2. Conduct analytical and finite element analysis to calculate residual stress, and align experimental results with the mechanical modeling. Results due to DOT within six (6) months of the effective date of the Agreement.

3. Measure material properties, residual stress, prepare free films and adhesion test panels, and establish mechanical modeling of the residual stress of the multi-layer coatings. Results due to DOT within nine (9) months of the effective date of the Agreement.

4. Conduct adhesion and free film degradation test and residual stress relaxation testing. Results due to DOT within Twenty One (21) months of the effective date of Agreement.

5. An understanding of multi-layer pipeline coating disbondment mechanism(s) due to residual stress development resulting from coating manufacturing/extrusion process and characteristics of surface anchor profile and surface preparation methods will be established. Due to DOT within Twenty Four (24) months of the effective date of the Agreement.

6. Strategy to reduce multi-layer pipeline coating disbondment will also be recommended. Due to DOT within Twenty Four (24) months of the effective date of the Agreement.

7. Quarterly status and progress reports and final project report will be prepared and submitted in accordance with ArticleVI.F.2, 3, and 4 of the Basic Agreement.

8. Paper submission to conference presentations and publication to NACE or other pipeline conference. Due to DOT within Twenty Four (24) months of the effective date of the Agreement.
