About this file

This document is an Addendum to the bidding documents for the Cooper Street Correctional Facility - Asphalt Repairs project, issued by the Michigan Department of Technology, Management and Budget (DTMB) and Design and Construction Division. The project has a bid opening date of 3/6/2024 and a contract duration of 120 days from the Notice to Proceed. The Addendum provides clarifications and additional information, including that two crews can work simultaneously, concrete work at the food services loading dock shall be completed first, material testing will be provided through the Professional Services Contractor's (PSC) contract, and pavement work at each housing unit shall be completed in two or more phases. The project is located in Jackson County, Michigan.

The Addendum indicates that no electrical work is required by the contractor, as the facility will be responsible for disconnecting the compactor, and that Ground Penetrating Radar is required for areas where underground storm sewer and electrical lines will be installed, with payment for any required hydro-excavation to be made out of an allowance. The Pre-Bid Sign-In Sheet is also attached to the Addendum.
