Section 104. CONTROL OF WORK, 104.05 Load Restrictions, states to “Comply with Mount Rainier National Park vehicle restrictions as follows: Trucks are not allowed to travel on the Nisqually to Paradise Road between M.P. 0.0 and M.P. 6.5. A truck is any vehicle or vehicle and trailer(s) combination weighing greater than 10 tons”. This restriction will result in literally hundreds of additional hours associated with trucking, material, equipment delivery/removal, etc., which will be reflected in the cost of the project. Will the Government please remove this requirement to ensure a better value for the project?

What’s the depth for the surface repair on the
Glacier bridge (item 55220‐0000)? And is there a location count? There’s 10 SY for the item but we could not locate them on the plans.
The quantity shown for item 55220‐0000 is for the areas outside the concrete repair covered by item 55221‐0000 , and for minor spall repairs not covered in the CY concrete repair item and area.. The depths are unknown and the exact locations will be determined during construction.
