This document is a request for information from the Federal Aviation Administration regarding security system design and integration services. The FAA seeks comments on draft documents for a follow-on contract to design, integrate, and refresh security systems at staffed facilities. Services may include replacement of physical access control, surveillance, and perimeter intrusion detection systems as well as intercoms and door hardware. Systems must meet HSPD-12 and NIST FIPS requirements and be on the GSA approved list. Access control devices for small sites will connect to shared security servers accessible through the FAA's security management system for remote alarm monitoring and identity verification. Interested vendors must register in SAM using NAICS code 561621 and sign a document security notice to receive sensitive documents by August 3, 2017. The incumbent contractor is Versar Security Systems. The acquisition strategy anticipates unrestricted competition.
