This document is a Request for Information (RFI) from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regarding security system design and integration services. The FAA requires a complete technical refresh of security systems at staffed facilities, which may include replacement of integrated physical access control, surveillance, and perimeter intrusion detection systems as well as intercoms and door hardware. Systems must meet HSPD-12 and NIST FIPS requirements and be on the GSA approved products list. All facilities must be accessible for remote monitoring by the FAA's security management system and support PIV cardholder access. The incumbent contractor is Versar Security Systems. The anticipated acquisition strategy is unrestricted competition under NAICS code 561621 with a size standard of $20.5 million. Interested parties must register in SAM and agree to document security terms to receive the RFI attachments by August 3, 2017. Responses will be used for informational purposes only.
