The Federal Aviation Administration is seeking proposals to perform the complete technical refresh of security systems at staffed facilities, which may include replacing integrated physical access control, surveillance, and perimeter intrusion detection systems as well as intercoms and door hardware. Access control systems must meet HSPD-12 and NIST FIPS requirements and be on the GSA approved products list. All facilities must be accessible for remote monitoring via the FAA's security management system. Interested vendors are invited to submit comments and questions on draft documents by August 3, 2017 for consideration. The follow-on contract is anticipated to be awarded under full and open competition.
