This request for information from the Federal Aviation Administration solicits feedback on draft documents for a security system design and integration contract. The FAA requires a complete technical refresh of security systems at staffed facilities, which may include replacement of physical access control, surveillance, and perimeter intrusion detection systems. Access control systems must meet HSPD-12 and NIST FIPS requirements and be on the GSA approved parts list. All facilities must be accessible for remote monitoring through the FAA's security management system. Interested vendors must register in SAM using NAICS code 561621 and sign a document security notice to receive the RFI attachments. Responses are requested by August 3, 2017 and will be treated confidentially except as required by FOIA. This RFI is for informational purposes only and not a solicitation; no costs will be reimbursed.
