This document provides details for the Security System Design and Integration II (SSDI II) federal contract opportunity. The Federal Aviation Administration is seeking proposals to perform the complete technical refresh of security systems at staffed facilities, which can include replacing integrated physical access control, surveillance, and perimeter intrusion detection systems. Access control systems must meet HSPD-12 and NIST FIPS requirements and be on the GSA approved parts list. All facilities must be accessible for remote monitoring by the FAA's Physical Security Enterprise Management System. This is a follow-on contract to an incumbent-held contract expiring in 2008. Interested parties must register in SAM and agree to document security terms to obtain further solicitation documents classified as FOUO or SUI. Responses to the request for information are due by August 3, 2017 and will be treated confidentially except as required by FOIA.
