This document is a Request for Information from the Federal Aviation Administration regarding security system design and integration services. The FAA seeks input on draft documents for a follow-on contract to design, install, and maintain security systems at staffed facilities. Interested vendors must register in SAM and agree to document security terms by August 3rd, 2017 to receive the RFI attachments. The anticipated acquisition strategy is unrestricted competition. Services include replacing physical access control, surveillance, perimeter intrusion detection systems, and intercom/door hardware. All systems must meet HSPD-12 and NIST FIPS requirements and be GSA-approved. Access control devices will network to shared security servers, and all facilities must integrate with the FAA's PSEMS system for remote alarm monitoring and PIV cardholder access. The incumbent contractor is Versar Security Systems. The NAICS code is 561621 for security system services.
