This document is a Request for Information from the Federal Aviation Administration regarding security system design and integration services. The FAA seeks input on draft documents for a follow-on contract to design, integrate, and refresh security systems at staffed facilities. Services may include replacing physical access control, surveillance, perimeter intrusion detection systems, and intercoms/door hardware. Systems must meet HSPD-12 and NIST FIPS requirements and be on the GSA approved list. All facilities require remote monitoring through the FAA's security management system. Interested vendors must register in SAM using NAICS code 561621 and sign a document security notice to receive the RFI attachments. Responses are due by August 3, 2017 and will be used for informational purposes only. The FAA does not intend to pay for information received or costs incurred.
