This Request for Information from the Federal Aviation Administration solicits industry feedback on a draft statement of work for the Security System Design and Integration II contract. The FAA requires a technical refresh of security systems at staffed facilities, which may include replacement of physical access control, surveillance, and perimeter intrusion detection systems. Access control solutions must meet HSPD-12 and NIST FIPS requirements and be on the GSA approved products list. All facilities must integrate with the FAA's Physical Security Enterprise Management System for remote alarm monitoring and identity verification. The incumbent contractor is Versar Security Systems. The anticipated acquisition strategy is unrestricted competition. Interested parties must register in SAM using NAICS code 561621 and sign a document security notice to receive the RFI attachments. Responses are due by August 3, 2017 and will be used for informational purposes only.
