This document is a Request for Information from the Federal Aviation Administration regarding security system design and integration services. The FAA seeks comments on draft documents for a follow-on contract to design, install, and maintain security systems at staffed facilities. Services may include replacing physical access control, surveillance, perimeter intrusion detection systems, and intercoms. Systems must meet HSPD-12 and NIST FIPS requirements and be on the GSA approved list. Access control devices will connect to shared security servers, and all facilities must integrate with the FAA's security management system for remote monitoring. Interested vendors must register in SAM using NAICS code 561621 and sign a document security notice to receive sensitive documents by August 3, 2017. The incumbent contractor is Versar Security Systems. The FAA intends to use unrestricted competition and will publish questions and answers but not responses.
