This document is a Request for Information from the Federal Aviation Administration regarding security system design and integration services. The FAA seeks input on draft documents for a follow-on contract to design, install, and maintain security systems at staffed facilities. Services may include replacing physical access control, surveillance, perimeter intrusion detection systems, and intercoms/door hardware. Systems must meet HSPD-12 and NIST FIPS requirements and be GSA-approved. All facilities require remote monitoring through the FAA's security management system. Interested parties must register in SAM using NAICS code 561621 and sign a document security notice to receive sensitive documents by August 3rd, 2017. The incumbent contractor is Versar Security Systems. The FAA intends to use unrestricted competition and will publish questions and answers but not responses received under this RFI.
