This document is a Request for Information from the Federal Aviation Administration regarding security system design and integration services. The FAA seeks comments on draft documents for a follow-on contract to upgrade security systems at staffed facilities, potentially replacing physical access control, surveillance, perimeter intrusion detection, and intercom/door hardware systems. Systems must meet HSPD-12 and NIST FIPS requirements and be on the GSA approved list. Access control devices should network to shared security servers, and all facilities must integrate with the FAA's security management system for remote alarm monitoring and PIV cardholder access. Interested vendors must register in SAM using NAICS code 561621 and sign a document security notice to receive the RFI attachments. Responses are due by August 3, 2017 and will be treated confidentially except as required by FOIA. No costs will be reimbursed for responding to the RFI.
