This document provides details for a forthcoming federal contract solicitation for security system design and integration services. The Federal Aviation Administration requires a complete technical refresh of security systems at staffed facilities, which may include replacement of physical access control, surveillance, perimeter intrusion detection systems, and other components. Systems must meet HSPD-12 and NIST FIPS requirements and be on the GSA approved products list. The follow-on contract to the incumbent, Versar Security Systems, LLC, will provide for networked access control and remote monitoring via the FAA's security management system. Interested vendors are invited to submit comments on draft documents by August 3, 2017 for consideration, though this announcement does not constitute a solicitation. The NAICS code is 561621 and size standard is $20.5 million. Responses will be non-proprietary and shared with all interested parties.
