This document is a request for information from the Federal Aviation Administration regarding security system design and integration services. The FAA seeks comments on draft documents for a follow-on contract to design, integrate, and refresh security systems at staffed facilities. Services may include replacing physical access control, surveillance, perimeter intrusion detection systems, and intercoms. Systems must meet HSPD-12 and NIST FIPS requirements and be on the GSA approved list. Access control devices must be networkable to shared security servers, and all facilities must be accessible for remote monitoring through the FAA's security management system. Interested vendors must register in SAM using NAICS code 561621 and sign a document security notice to receive sensitive documents by August 3rd, 2017. The incumbent contractor is Versar Security Systems. Responses will be non-binding and used for planning purposes only.
