Additional Questions & Answers
Q&A # Question Answer
80 I do not feel that this was answered. Sheet C002 Please provide a drawing showing the pavilion including BBQ design, any gas lines or other utility lines running through this area and sidewalk as we will need to replace concrete and landscaping in this area when replacing the 12” CTS & CTR lines. The plans do not show the pavilion or any detail for the BBQ’s set up in the pavilion. It is likely that the CTS & CTR lines are going to go right under this area. We really need at least a description of what this is so we can figure what work will need to be done.
The observation is correct. Thickness of the slab was already provided in a previous question. We have no other information other than that which can be obtained from visual inspection.
81 I do not feel that this was answered. On sheet C001 note 3 indicates to replace existing 4” CTS/CTR lines but these lines run off the left hand side of the page at grid line E. Please provide a drawing showing where these lines will terminate (PSB Entrance). This question was answered for the 12” lines but the answer did not address the 4” line that trails off the page at grid line E. This is not continued on any other sheet.
Please clarify.
The 4” lines terminate immediately in the Power Services Building. Any detail beyond that has not yet been developed.
82 In the RFO it mentions that 2 chillers to be replaced, but on the drawings it shows 4 chillers being installed. Are 4 chillers being replaced?
Four (4) Chillers.
83 Has the owner selected a commissioning authority? What items or what is the scope for the commissioning agent?
Owner will provide Commissioning Agent. Expect Full Commissioning Process that will be executed but the contractor with owner provided commissions agent.
84 With the replacement on the access flooring and all the equipment needing to stay up
Means and methods to be discussed during the design assist phase.
Amendment #0003 and operating, are we to replace access flooring to the edge of the equipment and leave the existing access flooring under the equipment is to remain.
