About this file
This is a Draft Statement of Work (SOW) for Vacuum Sensor Calibrators (VSC) for the Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) Metrology and Calibration (METCAL) Program. The procurement seeks to replace existing vacuum sensor calibration equipment with new systems that can support calibration workloads for thermocouple vacuum gages, thermocouple, cold cathode, and capacitance sensors monitoring vacuum furnaces. The contract will be a two-year Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) with a minimum of one and maximum of seven VSCs, in accordance with Calibration Standards Specification CSS FY20-JAX-0001.
Key requirements include providing operator/service manuals, calibration certifications, instrument calibration procedures, software/firmware documentation, repairable parts lists, and a three-day training course for up to ten persons covering maintenance, repair, troubleshooting, and component installation. The manufacturer must provide a minimum one-year commercial warranty, and all systems must be serialized with a warranty sticker. Deliverables include technical manuals, calibration certificates, software/firmware documentation, parts lists, and a training course syllabus. The anticipated Request for Proposal (RFP) is expected to be issued in June 2025 through the System of Award Management (SAM.gov).
