About this file
This Statement of Work (SOW) details the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Logistics Center's requirement for catalog contracts covering electrical, electronic, and mechanical/industrial products supporting the National Airspace System (NAS) equipment maintenance, repair, and overhaul activities. The contract seeks vendors with web-based catalogs capable of fulfilling customer orders through direct shipping of parts, with specific website requirements including search capabilities, stock availability/lead time tracking, pricing information, and shipping prioritization ranging from overnight (Priority 1) to ground shipping within 8 calendar days (Priority 5).
Key requirements include accepting call orders via email from designated Inventory Managers and Supply Technicians, with order awards based primarily on price (including discounts) and availability/delivery. The vendor must provide a commercial warranty at no cost to the government, handle packaging and transportation per specified standards, and obtain government approval for any part substitutions due to obsolescence or unavailability. The SOW is part of a pre-solicitation market survey targeting small businesses, service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses, and 8(a) certified firms, with responses due by August 12, 2025.
