About this file

This document is a Draft Statement of Work (SOW) for parking lot renovation at the Yakama Service Unit Annex building and White Swan Dental Clinic in Washington State. The project involves comprehensive parking lot improvements including milling existing surfaces, installing new base materials, pouring and compacting asphalt, applying seal coat, and adding high-visibility traffic markings and ADA-compliant parking designations. Technical requirements specify adherence to WSDOT standards, ABA accessibility guidelines, and ASTM specifications, with detailed material requirements for subgrade, asphalt, seal coat, and striping paint.

The work scope includes specific execution requirements such as site survey, debris removal, soil testing, proper grading, asphalt installation, and precise striping procedures. Quality assurance measures mandate a valid Washington state contractor's license, OSHA certification, relevant industry association memberships, and compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. The contractor must provide comprehensive submittals including pre-construction documentation, material specifications, test data, and post-construction reports. The project is part of a larger Indian Health Service (IHS) flatwork improvement initiative for Portland Area locations, with an anticipated project magnitude between $500,000 and $1,000,000.
