About this file
This document outlines technical specifications for unmanned aircraft systems to be procured by the United States Coast Guard. The specifications include required performance characteristics for the unmanned aircraft such as airspeed, service ceiling, wind limits for takeoff and recovery, temperature range, endurance, range under various conditions, ship motion parameters for launch and recovery from cutters, lighting, loss of link protocols, autonomous launch and recovery capabilities, payload detectability, fuel and battery requirements, and identification friend or foe compatibility. The related pre-solicitation provides additional context, identifying the opportunity as Group II and Group III UAS to be operated from USCG cutters under Solicitation Number 70Z02323R9313000X.
