The contractor shall conform to the Fabric Salient Characteristic Requirements listed in Table X below. Preference will be given to fabrics that meet all or as many of the salient characteristic requirements listed in Table X. Preference will be given to fabrics that significantly exceed requirements (e.g., higher tear strength, higher breathability).
The Government reserves the right to request certifications, test data, or any other documentation supporting the proposal claims, as deemed appropriate.

Vector Protection: Vendors must provide written verification that fabrics or uniforms made from vendors fabric are compatible and can be treated with vector protection without negatively impacting properties in Table XXX. Vendors must provide written acknowledgement that the uniforms produced from the selected fabrics will be treated with vector protection for Marine Corps user evaluations. Compatible means must meet Active Ingredient level and percent bite protection as specified in MIL-PRF-MCCUU (objective) or MIL-DLT-32659 (threshold) 3.5.

1/ Manikin Burn ASTM F1930 test results are optional for submission.
2/ Skip detergent every 5th cycle to ensure it does not accumulate.
3/ Launder according to AATCC TM 135, (3), V, Aiii.
4/ Rated using the AATCC Smoothness and Appearance Replicas.
5/ Vendors shall submit colorfastness data on whatever print or color fabric submitted for the 10 yards as part of the RFP response package.
6/ Non-disclosure agreement (NDA) for SWIR Apparent Reflectivity Values.
