About this file
This is a Questions and Answers document related to a procurement by Colorado Parks and Wildlife (CPW) for launcher equipment. The procurement includes 100 single shot 15mm launchers and 50 double shot 15mm launchers. The single shot launchers are specified to hold only one blank cartridge at a time, contrary to initial specifications that referenced magazine capacities of 6 or 10 blanks. CPW clarified that the equipment will be used exclusively for bird bombs and bird whistlers, and that 15mm launchers are the only acceptable specification; 17mm launchers are not acceptable for this application.
The document addresses specification clarifications and quantity confirmations through the Q&A process but does not specify pricing terms, response deadlines, due dates, or other contract award details. No information regarding set asides, incumbents, funding sources, or budget amounts is provided in this excerpt.

DQ1 2016*1118 Q&A
Q&A:
1) I have found an error in the specifications for the 15mm single shot launchers. The specifications indicate: “Single shot with 6 or 10 black magazine capacities to allow quicker reloading and firing of cartridges safely.” This launcher has no provisions for a magazine; it will only hold one 6mm blank and one 15mm cartridge at a time. There are launchers which do have a 6-blank magazine (RG-3) and a 10-blank magazine (RG-300). Please advise.
The Single shot launchers with just 1 blank at a time is what we are asking for.
2) The single shot states 100 cases, does this mean 100 launchers?
Yes - 100 single shot Launchers.
3) The double shot stats 50 cases, does this means 50 launchers?
Yes - 50 double shot launchers.
4) CPW normally purchases 15mm launchers for the fuse rope salutes, are you accepting responses for 17mm launchers?
We do not advise the use of fuse rope salutes to be fired from those guns we only use the launchers for bird bombs and bird whistlers. This is why we only ask for 15mm launchers.
